Sunday, July 1st, 1923: Buckie-2nd-IX's Delahanty Top DL Batter in June
Only one person can take home the Dales Batter of the Month trophy for June and that person is Ed Delahanty. During the month the Buckie-2nd-IX second baseman collected 42 hits in 100 at-bats.

Delahanty put up a .420 average, hit 1 home run, drove in 12 and scored 16 runs.

This season Delahanty is batting .368 with 1 home run. He has scored 34 runs and driven in 20.

Monday, June 18th, 1923: DL Honors Buckie-2nd-IX Second Baseman
So far in his young career, Ed Delahanty has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Dales in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.

The 20-year-old Buckie-2nd-IX Whalers second baseman hit at a torrid .484 clip as he collected 15 hits in 31 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 8 runs scored.

Looking at his 1923 season stats, Delahanty has compiled a .363 batting average in 63 games with a .431 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 15 runs.

Monday, August 7th, 1922: Toughest Out of the Week Wins DL Award
Over the past week, Manny Castillo has feasted on Dales pitching. Today the Buckie-2nd-IX Whalers third baseman gobbled up the league's latest Player of the Week Award.
