| Breaking News |  | Thursday, November 4th, 1926: Bears and Greyhounds Agree to Deal
The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Warwickshire Bears sent 26-year old right fielder Harry Heilmann, a 1st round draft pick and $22,700 in cash to the Limavady Greyhounds for a 1st round draft pick and $22,700 in cash.
Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal.
Heilmann currently has a career .281 batting average with 1116 hits, good for 56 home runs, 500 RBIs and 531 runs.

 | Friday, September 17th, 1926: Limavady Shortstop Hurt
The Greyhounds received bad news this morning. Charlie Hollocher will miss 3 weeks due to a scratched cornea. In the Limavady-Buckie game he sustained the injury while colliding with a player at a base. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Hollocher sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery."
Currently Hollocher is hitting .286 and has collected 4 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 43 times, while playing in 107 games.
