Sources familiar with dealings between Jimmy Collins and Leicestershire report that the two sides have pushed aside their differences and worked out an extension.
The 26-year-old agreed to a $87,900 deal that will have him playing at Grace Road for the next 6 years.
In his career Collins has hit .281 with 168 hits, 4 home runs, 47 RBIs and scored 70 runs. |

The Warwickshire Bears have finalized a deal with the Leicestershire Foxes for the services of 25-year old center fielder Brian McRae. In exchange, the Foxes will receive a 4th round draft pick.
McRae is hitting .229 this season with 3 home runs, 29 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 144 hits in 629 at-bats.
