| Breaking News |  | Sunday, November 21st, 1926: Buckie Swaps Swanson to Worcestershire for Harper A trade between the Buckie Whalers and the Worcestershire Royals was made official this morning. The Buckie Whalers have sent 30-year old left fielder Evar Swanson, a 4th round draft pick and $2,100 in cash to the Worcestershire Royals in exchange for 23-year old left fielder Tommy Harper, 30-year old minor league reliever Pedro Feliciano, a 2nd round draft pick and $1,100 in cash.
In his career Swanson has hit for a .250 average and totaled 98 hits, no home runs and 33 RBIs.
Harper is hitting .243 lifetime with 126 hits, 13 doubles, 4 triples, 12 home runs and 61 RBIs to date. He has scored 63 runs and stolen 25 bases. |  | Thursday, November 4th, 1926: Buckie and Warwickshire Agree to Swap The Buckie Whalers have parted ways with 29-year old center fielder Jose Cruz and $53,000 in cash, sending him to the Warwickshire Bears for a 1st round draft pick and $22,700 in cash. The Whalers general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
Cruz has played in 943 games with a .266 lifetime batting average. Among his 894 hits are 197 doubles, 19 triples and 100 home runs.
