A trade between the Clontarf Bulls and the Yorkshire Phoenix was made official this morning. The Clontarf Bulls have sent 29-year old starting pitcher Jim Archer, 24-year old minor league closer Glenn Liebhardt and $22,700 in cash to the Yorkshire Phoenix in exchange for 33-year old starting pitcher Henry Keupper and $12,700 in cash.
In his career Archer has tossed 91 innings, fanned 59 batters and walked 36. His lifetime won-lost record is 2 wins and 10 losses with a 4.95 ERA.
Since he joined the league, Keupper has collected 23 victories and 33 defeats with a 3.23 ERA.

 | Wednesday, December 1st, 1926: Middlesex Crusaders Lo Duca to Yorkshire for Zinn
The Middlesex Crusaders have finalized a deal with the Yorkshire Phoenix for the services of 28-year old minor league starting pitcher Jimmy Zinn, 29-year old left fielder Bevo LeBourveau and $4,300 in cash. In exchange, the Phoenix will receive 29-year old catcher Paul Lo Duca, 29-year old left fielder Larry Sheets and $2,100 in cash.
Lo Duca has 387 career hits with a .256 batting average and 35 home runs.
A check of his career stats reveals Zinn has chalked up 14 wins and 16 losses with 236 strikeouts and a 3.06 ERA. Opposing teams have put up a .249 batting average against him.

 | Sunday, November 21st, 1926: Yorkshire and Durham Agree to Deal
The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Yorkshire Phoenix sent 26-year old left fielder Bob Watson, 24-year old starting pitcher JOSE MENDEZ, a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick and $14,300 in cash to the Durham Dynamos for 28-year old left fielder Charlie Jamieson, 31-year old center fielder Rebel Oakes, 31-year old shortstop Ollie Beard and $2,300 in cash.
Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal.
Watson has registered a career batting average of .262 with 976 hits, 98 homers and 617 RBIs.
Jamieson is hitting .288 during his 951-game career. He has 838 hits, 157 doubles, 12 triples, 13 home runs, 346 RBIs, 110 stolen bases and 386 runs scored.
