He suffered a fractured cheekbone while being hit by a pitch in the game today against the Northamptonshire Steelbacks. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the right fielder. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Youngs will miss 7 months. This year Youngs is hitting at a .327 pace with 6 home runs and 45 RBIs. He has played in 114 games and scored 84 times. |
