Home Nations Baseball Association News Article | | | Monday, June 26th, 1922: Lancashire Third Baseman Hurt The Lancashire Lightning will have to make do without Mark Bellhorn for 1-2 weeks. He suffered dead arm syndrome while throwing the ball in the game today against the Somerset Sabres. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the third baseman. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Bellhorn will miss 1-2 weeks.
Thus far in 1922 Bellhorn is batting .208 with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and 23 runs scored. | |
