 | Tuesday, June 20th, 1922: O'Farrell Has Nagging Injury, Listed DTD Lancashire's star catcher Bob O'Farrell injured himself in a game against the Buckie Whalers, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a concussion and the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said O'Farrell with a smile as he talked to SION reporters. Currently O'Farrell is batting .254 with no home runs and 21 RBIs. |
