After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Phantoms had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The starting pitcher will miss at least 7-8 months with a torn labrum.
In 1922 Cantwell has logged 6 wins and 6 losses and struck out 92 batters in 80.2 innings while compiling a 3.24 ERA. | |
