Home Nations Baseball Association News Article | |  | Wednesday, December 1st, 1926: Middlesex Crusaders Lo Duca to Yorkshire for Zinn The Middlesex Crusaders have finalized a deal with the Yorkshire Phoenix for the services of 28-year old minor league starting pitcher Jimmy Zinn, 29-year old left fielder Bevo LeBourveau and $4,300 in cash. In exchange, the Phoenix will receive 29-year old catcher Paul Lo Duca, 29-year old left fielder Larry Sheets and $2,100 in cash.
Lo Duca has 387 career hits with a .256 batting average and 35 home runs.
A check of his career stats reveals Zinn has chalked up 14 wins and 16 losses with 236 strikeouts and a 3.06 ERA. Opposing teams have put up a .249 batting average against him. | |
